Kademenos has won numerous awards for his legal knowledge and professionalism. He also has held leadership positions in his field, including serving as chairman of the Ohio State Bar Association Workers’ Compensation Committee. He is a board certified Workers’ Compensation Specialist and also served on the Special Legislative Committee for Workers’ Compensation Legislation in the state of Ohio.

Prior to becoming a lawyer, Kademenos grew up as the son of Greek immigrant parents who taught him the value of education and hard work. He began his undergraduate studies at Ohio University in their pre-med program. Following some soul searching, he decided to pursue another path. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Economics with Honors. Though accepted to medical school at Ohio State University, Kademenos followed his heart and went on to earn a law degree from Ohio State University.
Upon graduation, Victor Kademenos served as a Captain in the United States Army Adjutant General Corps. His first position as a civilian attorney was as an associate with the firm of Calhoun and Benzin located in Mansfield, Ohio. William Calhoun, an ex-FBI agent, had founded the firm in 1946. Kademenos took over as senior partner in 1991. He then expanded the practice into Sandusky, Port Clinton, and Delaware. Recently, the firm also expanded to Vermilion and was renamed Kademenos, Wisehart, Hines, Dolyk & Wright Co. LPA.
Throughout his career, Kademenos has utilized his interest in biology and medicine to assist clients hurt in workplace accidents, as well as those personally injured outside of their work environment. He has handled numerous plaintiff’s cases involving personal injury, catastrophic workers’ compensation injuries, products liability, wrongful death claims, and other complex matters.
Over the course of his career, Kademenos has recovered millions of dollars for his clients. He has won verdicts and settlements in complicated wrongful death cases, motorcycle accidents, trucking and car crashes, airplane accidents, amputations due to work-related injuries, and products liability.
When he isn’t practicing law, Kademenos enjoys spending time with his family, travel, and boating.
